Volunteer with Smile Mediation

All Smile’s mediators are volunteers who have completed Smile Mediation’s College of Mediators approved Mediation Skills Training Course (equivalent to NVQ Level 3), or have trained with other reputable providers to the same high standard.

Smile is committed to maintaining professional excellence in the services that our mediators provide. This is supported by a strong structure of regular supervision, ongoing training and personal development opportunities.

We currently have an active pool of over 80 fully trained mediators based throughout the UK.

We are currently recruiting trained and experienced mediators to join our team.

If you are not yet trained but would like to become a mediator, you can register your interest now to be placed on the waiting list for our next training and recruitment in 2026.

We also have opportunities for office-based volunteers and many of our volunteers have gone on to find employment after gaining new skills and confidence through Smile Mediation.
